After months of work, the Tio Juan’s Margaritas Mexican Restaurant has opened at the at the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown.

The eatery’s parking lot was packed on several recent evenings with nearly every spot taken.

According to the Tio Juan’s Margaritas’ company website, the chain started with one restaurant in New England in 1985. In the years since, the chain has expanded and now operates more than 20 locations thought the East Coast.

The eatery boasts about their fun atmosphere and colorful decor on their website.
