New Mexican Restaurant Coming to Area

Signs outside the former Uno Chicago Grill at the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown indicate that Tio Juan’s Margaritas Mexican Restaurant will be moving into the prominent location in the coming months.

While the Mexican chain has not given a timeline for their local opening, construction crews were busy both inside and outside of the soon-to-open eatery and bar on Monday afternoon.

No word of hiring has been posted.

According to the Tio Juan’s Margaritas’ company website, the chain started with one restaurant in New England in 1985. In the years since, the chain has expanded and now operates more than 20 locations thought the East Coast.

The eatery boasts about their fun atmosphere and colorful decor on their website.
