Original Story:
The Lower Bucks County black bear is on the move. Between Saturday and Sunday afternoon, the bear was spotted in Bensalem and Bristol townships.
According to video posted on Facebook by David Aaron, the bear was caught on camera as it walked through the backyards of several Bensalem homes Saturday afternoon. 6abc.com reports the bear was also spotted also at Resurrection Cemetery and St. Ephrem’s Catholic Church in the township.

Starting Sunday morning, bear sightings were reported in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. However, officials were unavailable to confirm the reports.
Bear sightings started in the Levittown area last Wednesday when a resident reported seeing a bear in the area of Zimmerman Lane near the Hulmeville and Middletown border. In the days following, the bear has been spotted many times throughout the lower end of the county.

The approximately 400-pound bear – believed to be a male – is suspected of coming down from Upper Bucks County and is likely just circling through the area, Pennsylvania Game Commission Cheryl Trewella said late last week.
An article in the Sunday edition of the Bucks County Courier Times said the state has placed a bear trap in an unspecified location in Middletown.
Residents in Middletown told CBS 3 last week that they have been hearing strange noises coming from the woods where the bear has been sighted for weeks.

Trewella said residents should not try to approach or feed the bear. She also said local residents should not put out their household trash until the day it is to be collected and they should check outside at night before letting their pets outside alone.
The bear is not considered a serious threat to humans, officials said.
