Celebrating Locals in the Armed Forces

Armed Forces Day was yesterday. ย In celebration and support of our troops, we asked readers to send in pictures/images of their friends, family, and or loved ones who are or, ย have served. ย  We celebrate their commitment to protecting and serving for us.

Below are responses withย correspondingย statements from LevittownNow readers.

Again we thank our service men and women throughout the world for commitment to protect our country.

From Michelle ย Auty- Cameron:

This is my step sister, SSG Crystal Lee. She is ย currently stationed in Newport News Virginia at Fort Eustis

“In the military, you need a strong family base in order to make it work because if not, too many military families fall apart, strength and support help make the job a little easier.”

Hello, First I want to say Thank You for supporting Armed Forces Day and all the localย military from Levittown.

Here is a picture of our son, Jeff Wagner,ย receiving 2 more awards from his Commanding Officer this past weekย . He is a Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Japan for the last 2.5 years.

He is an Aviation Electrician working on F-18 Super Hornets with VFA-27 Royal Maces. The Maces fly from the aircraft carrier USS George Washington.

He is currently a “Shooter” and performs the final check on the aircraft giving the “go ahead” for launch from the carrier deck.

We are SO Proud of everything he has accomplished in the Navy and cant wait until he can return home to see us.

Thank You Again.
