Drug Charges Lodged Against Man Arrested for Burglarizing Own House

The same day a 21-year-old Falls Township man was arrested and charged with attempting to break into the home he shared with his parents, police also lodged drug charges against him for a separate incident early April incident.

Dennis Dailey III of the Fallsington section of the township was charged with possession of a counterfeit controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia on the same police charged him burglary, criminal trespassing and related offenses.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the East Trenton Road home on April4 for a report that Dailey’s father found him in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Responding officers arrived and found Dailey pinned to the floor of his bedroom by his father, according to court documents.

As an officer swooped in a handcuffed the 21-year-old, they spotted a green plastic screw top capsule containing three suspected crack cocaine rocks, police said.

Dailey’s father showed police several other items he recovered from his son and from his bedroom.

A list of the items police said they recovered:

  • 2 blue empty glassine baggies inside of a plastic cup
  • 1 syringe containing liquid substance, which was suspected heriod
  • 10 blue packets containing suspected heroin
  • 11 empty blue packets with ER stamped on them
  • 3 blue glassine baggies containing suspected crack cocaine
  • 2 empty Suboxone packets

Police did not state why it took nearly a month for charges to be filed in the case.

Dailey was arraigned and sent to Bucks County jail on 10 percent of $40,000 bail. He also faced 10 percent of $150,000 bail for the burglary case.
