Over the next two weeks, temporary lane restrictions will be in effect on northbound and southbound Route 13 between Green Lane and Levittown Parkway weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.ย  The traffic pattern north of Levittown Parkway will remain unchanged until the Stage 1 traffic shift is implemented, at which time northbound traffic will shift to the southbound side of the highway to build culverts under the northbound lanes.ย  While the date of the Stage 1 traffic pattern shift is to be determined, three traffic pattern changes will occur over the next two weeks:

  • From April 9 to April 12, the northbound and southbound left lanes on Route 13 will be closed around-the clock between Green Lane and Edgely Road for the installation of new drainage in the median
  • Beginning April 17, Route 13โ€™s southbound lanes will be closed between Bath Road and Bristol Commerce Drive for the reconstruction of the bridge over Otter Creek.ย  One lane in each direction will be maintained on the northbound side of Route 13
  • Beginning April 22, Beaver Dam Road will be closed north of Bristol Pike for the rehabilitation of the bridge over Adams Hollow Creek.ย  To reach Beaver Dam Road, motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour of northbound Bristol Pike to Green Lane to Elwood Avenue to North Ave.ย  Motorists on Beaver Dam Road who wish to reach Bristol Pike will follow Plymouth Avenue to Elwood Avenue to Green Lane to Bristol Pike.ย  In addition, Bristol Pike will be reduced to one lane in each direction approaching Beaver Dam Road, with a left turn lane at the intersection to allowing left turns from southbound Bristol Pike.ย  Beaver Dam Road will be closed for a maximum of 78 days.
