Neighbors said family of Kerner were always in and out of the house. Two different nearby homeowners said at least eight  people, including children, were in the home at the time of the fire.

The Red Paw Emergency Relief Team told LevittownNow.com that Kerner’s dog, Maggie, is in their care and in need of a temporary foster family until the victim’s kin can get back on their feet.
