A hit network procedural crime drama will be shooting scenes at an iconic area location later this week.
CBS-owned Eye Productions will be shooting scenes for “Elementary” on the iconic Lower Trenton Bridge that connects Morrisville to Trenton. The bridge carries the “Trenton Makes The World Takes” sign, which was refreshed earlier this year.

In a memo provided to Morrisville officials, a member of the production team said that the scene will be filmed between 8 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday. The shoot is slated to involve stunt drivers operating NYPD vehicles.
In addition to the closure of the span, Bridge Street will be blocked at Delmorr Avenue.

Crews are expected to set up the shoot and take down equipment Thursday and Saturday without obstructing the flow of traffic.

Some of the production’s trucks will be stationed on Park Avenue and residents have been asked to park in their driveways. Other crew parking will be at nearby parking lot, according to the production team.
It is unclear of “Elementary” stars Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu, Jon Michael Hill, Aidan Quinn, or John Noble will be on set. The show, which is filming for its seventh season, is a take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s character Sherlock Holmes. The show is set in New York City and films in the surrounding area.

While Morrisville is not a regular shooting location for film and TV series, M. Night Shyamalan’s “Signs” filmed scenes at the Burns Pharmacy in 2001 and Bucks County has seen visits from other productions over years.
