A man was arrested after the Bucks County Detectives investigated a Snapchat account that allegedly contained child sexual abuse material.

The Bucks County Detectives received an alert on July 11 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about potential child sexual abuse material linked to a Snapchat account. The report involved two videos depicting young girls, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Snapchat provided investigators with information about the account, and detectives identified two frequent locations associated with the account.
Detectives said they determined the device was often at a home in the Croydon section of Bristol Township and at a business in Falls Township.

Using information obtained through a subpoena to Verizon and a state worker database, detectives determined the Bristol Township and Falls Township locations were the home and workplace of the Snapchat user, they said.
A search warrant for the Snapchat account returned 15 videos of apparent child sexual abuse material, according to investigators.

A county detective trailed the Snapchat account holder from his home in Bristol Township to his job in Falls Township earlier this month, authorities said.
David Alexander Dugan, 25, was arrested last Thursday by county detectives and charged with child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility. Dugan was preliminarily arraigned by District Judge Corryn Kronnagel and held on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
