Firefighters were battling heavy fire Wednesday evening in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

Crews from multiple volunteer companies were dispatched to Balsam Road for a reported blaze shortly before 7:20 p.m.
According to dispatch reports, firefighters arrived to find the home ablaze.
Crews were still working to contain the fire as of 7:40 p.m. and an ambulance was called to the scene for a possible injury, according to dispatches.
