Lottery Tickets Stolen During Saturday Break-In At Store

Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a convenience store early Saturday morning and made off with a large container of scratch-off lottery tickets.

The burglary occurred at approximately 1:42 a.m. at the Country Farms in the unit block of Makefield Road in the Morrisville section of Falls Township.

According to investigators, the suspect forced entry into the business before fleeing with the tickets.

Security camera footage shows the suspect making entry through the front door, which has its glass smashed open.

Falls Township police later recovered the stolen lottery tickets in the area of Penns Grant Park, a short distance from the store. Officers also discovered a bicycle in the immediate area of the recovered tickets.

Investigators believe the suspect used the bicycle to arrive at the scene of the crime.
