Police Dog Assists In Arrest Of Three People

Three people were arrested late last week after police responded to reports of a burglary in progress at a home in Bristol Township.

Officers were dispatched at 10:09 p.m. last Thursday to the 1300 block of Hardy Street.

According to police, the first reports stated that three people were seen around a residence and appeared to be entering through basement doors.

Outside the home, officers discovered an Audi SUV parked, police said.

Investigators said officers on the scene heard noise coming from the basement of the home.

After a K-9 unit was deployed, an officer issued commands for anyone inside the basement to exit the home.

Three people complied and were then taken into custody after exiting the dwelling, police said.

The suspects were identified as Johkere Shakee Williams, 34, of Philadelphia; Matthew Giuffrida, 43, of Newtown; and Kristen Worth, 35, of Doylestown.

All three have been charged with criminal trespassing – entering a structure. Giuffrida and Worth face additional drug-related charges after they were allegedly found in possession of suspected drugs.

The trio appeared before on-call District Judge Charles Jonas. Bail for each defendant was set at 10 percent of $50,000. Records indicate Worth posted bail on Monday and was released.
