The crash happened Sunday, March 22, shortly after 12:30 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the highway, just past the Bristol exit.

The 43-year-old Perkasie man was traveling on a 2004 Yamaha R1 when he lost control and dropped the bike on the highway, state police said.

The motorcycle sustained moderate damage, and state police noted the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the single-vehicle crash.
