PennDOT crews will continue work to repair deteriorating pavement and patch potholes across the region this week after a harsh winter.

Repair work is scheduled for Route 13 in Falls Township and Tullytown Borough, Old Bristol Pike in Falls Township and Morrisville Borough, and Highland and Comly avenues in Middletown Township and Langhorne Manor Borough.
PennDOT officials said motorists should expect periodic daytime lane closures and potential traffic delays in the areas of the work while crews are out.
The work by the state transpiration department comes after a winter season marked by multiple snow storms and extreme cold.

Maintenance crews have been working for several weeks to address road damage caused by the freeze-thaw cycles.
Since Jan. 1, PennDOT District 6 has used more than 1,691 tons of asphalt to fill craters and smooth surfaces.

The district manages state-owned roads and highways across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
The agency reported it has received 6,837 resident concerns about potholes since the beginning of the year.
This week, crews are scheduled to perform repairs on 35 roadways throughout the five-county Philadelphia region.

PennDOT are asking drivers to report pothole locations through its customer care portal at customercare.penndot.pa.gov or by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD.
