The Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority has announced its 2026 water main flushing schedule.

The flushing program is slated to begin Monday, May 4, and will continue through Tuesday, May 19.
The authority provides water and sewer services to approximately 24,000 customers in portions of Bristol Township, Falls Township, Middletown Township, and Tullytown Borough.

Customers are advised to not use water for drinking, cooking, or washing clothes while flushing is underway.
Authority officials warned that residents and businesses located within or nearby to the flushing zones may experience slight water discoloration.

While the water discoloration generally lasts less than an hour, the authority advises customers to avoid using water for drinking, cooking, or laundering clothes while work is actively occurring in their area.
The scheduled maintenance is subject to change.
Officials stated that if insufficient rainfall leads to water restrictions, the flushing may be postponed at any time.
