Police are searching for the driver of a white Infiniti SUV who fled from officers and led them a pursuit through several jurisdictions Wednesday evening.

The incident began when Middletown Township police identified a stolen registration plate on the vehicle, police said.
Officers initiated a traffic stop on the SUV along East Lincoln Highway, but the driver shortly after sped away from the scene, police said.
Officers suspect the SUV itself may also be stolen, noting that the license plate attached to the Infiniti did not match the vehicle, police said.

The chase traveled through Middletown Township and Langhorne Borough before the driver entered Route 1, police said.
According to police, the pursuing officer terminated the chase in the vicinity of the Route 1 and Route 13 interchange in Falls Township.

No crashes or injuries were reported during the pursuit, police said.
As of Wednesday night, investigators have not identified the driver, and the vehicle remains at large, police said.
