
The Falls Township man who sparked an hours-long standoff in March was sentenced last week.

Munajj Rashad Booker, 30, pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.
He was sentenced to time served to 23 months in the Bucks County Correctional Facility and two years of probation as part of a negotiated guilty plea, according to the court docket.

Bucks County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Raymond McHugh granted Booker immediate parole. The judge also mandated that Booker have no contact with the victims, submit to mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations, follow all resulting recommendations, and be prohibited from possessing firearms.

The standoff began on the evening of March 23 at the Pennsbury Woods Apartments on New Falls Road in Falls Township’s Levittown section.
The incident forced residents in the area to shelter in place for several hours.

Police established a perimeter after a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot around 6:30 p.m. and found a gunshot exit hole in a door with wood chips on the ground nearby, according to court papers.
Police determined the bullet originated from inside an apartment where Booker was located.
No one was inside the unit struck by the bullet, and no injuries were reported during the incident.

Authorities determined the resident of the apartment where the shot came from had not left the building.
The Bucks County South Emergency Response Team was called to the scene to surround the apartment.
