Demolition crews recently tore down Michael’s Restaurant and Lounge on Old Lincoln Highway.

The Falls Township Board of Supervisors approved plans in late 2023 from SAFStor Old Lincoln LLC to build a three-story, 109,650-square-foot mini-warehouse and self-storage building on the site.
The new self-storage facility will include 28 parking spaces.

The restaurant, which had been in operation since 1968, closed last September for the new use at the site.

An adjacent 1,932-square-foot residential structure was also razed.

Originally built in the 1950s as the Cypress Inn, the building was later transformed into Michael’s, a restaurant known for its tableside cooking and signature Caesar salad.
According to a marketing document from SVN Ahia Commercial Real Estate, the property was listed for $2.95 million.
