Motorcyclist Dies After Bristol Twp. Crash

A motorcyclist has died after a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Bristol Township.

Police said the collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Veterans Highway and Ford Road.

According to investigators, a man operating a motorcycle south on Veterans Highway collided with a vehicle that was turning left from North Veterans Highway onto Ford Road.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia.

The man later died from his injuries, police said.

Both the motorcycle and the sedan involved in the crash sustained disabling damage.

Bristol Township police were assisted at the scene by Bensalem EMS, the Newportville Fire Company, and Bristol Township Fire Police.
