A federal law enforcement investigation that led to a raid at a Penndel Borough business earlier this week is ongoing.

Special agents from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service executed a search warrant at Lord Computer on Centre Street on Tuesday morning.
Authorities remain tight-lipped about the specifics of the probe that brought special agents and attention to the borough.
George P. Clark, the postal inspector for the region, confirmed the law enforcement activity but declined to provide further details due to the ongoing nature of the probe.

Fox 29 reported the investigation is connected to a theft involving counterfeit shipping labels.
Lord Computer’s Penndel Borough location is listed as selling computer cables.

A request for comment from the business was not returned as of publication time.
Penndel Borough Police Chief Sean Perry confirmed his department assisted federal authorities on Tuesday and noted the activity was not immigration-related.
“There is no threat to the general public,” Perry said in a statement.

While a source indicated the FBI was involved in the raid, both the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the FBI have since confirmed the FBI was not part of the operation.
