Chick-fil-A opened its newest location Wednesday in Middletown Township.

The restaurant is located at 1440 East Lincoln Highway next to Lowe’s Home Improvement and is the second Chick-fil-A in the township.
The Chick-fil-A offers dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering, and mobile thru services.
The fast food eatery is owned and operated by David Heffernan.

To mark the opening, Chick-fil-A invited guests to dress in cow attire for a chance to redeem one free entree or kid’s meal.
Heffernan, who has been an owner-and-operator of the Chick-fil-A on Oxford Valley Road for nearly 20 years, was excited for the new location.

“After nearly 20 years of serving the Langhorne community at Chick-fil-A Oxford Valley Road, I’m excited to expand our positive impact with this new location,” said Heffernan. “We intend to live out our vision of being a place where our community gathers to connect with people who care for people.”
In addition to serving customers, Heffernan is committed to being involved in the community.
The new location will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local nonprofits.

As the new location opened, Chick-fil-A made a $25,000 donation to Philabundance, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant.
The new Chick-fil-A will operate Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The new location has created approximately 110 jobs.
With the new location open, the Chick-fil-A by Sesame Place will be renovated next year. The location was converted two decades ago from a Krispy Kreme.
