Homicide Suspect Arrested At Wawa

A man wanted for homicide was arrested Friday morning in Falls Township.

Trevon Manning, 25, of Trenton, was apprehended around 5:52 a.m. after Falls Township police responded to the Wawa in the Morrisville section of the township to assist an outside agency, authorities said.

Bucks County 9-1-1 advised Falls Township officers that New Jersey detectives were tracking a Chevrolet Equinox believed to be carrying a subject wanted for homicide, police said.

At the Wawa, Falls Township officers made contact with Manning, the passenger in the vehicle, and confirmed he had an active arrest warrant out of New Jersey for homicide, police said.

Few additional details on the homicide in New Jersey were available.

District Judge Mick Petrucci preliminarily arraigned Manning on a fugitive from justice charge Friday. The 25-year-old man is currently being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility awaiting a hearing for extradition to New Jersey.

On Thursday, Falls Township police, the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man wanted for an attempted murder. The man was wanted in New Jersey, and the incidents were not connected.
