Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said Frank Nugent III was found deceased inside his home in the 100 block of Indian Creek Drive.

The fire was ruled accidental and was caused by smoking, according to Bristol Township Deputy Fire Marshal Alex DelVecchio.

Levittown Fire Company No. 2 was called to the residence around 6:45 p.m. for a report of a fire, Chief Chris Shortt said.

The chief stated that crews entered the home and found the man deceased.

A family member found smoke inside the home and alerted authorities, DelVecchio said.
