Schools Announce Plans As Snow Falls

Due to the forecast snow, Levittown-area schools have announced their plans for Wednesday.

Bristol Borough School District:

Due to the overnight snow storm, Bristol Borough School District will operate on a two hour delay on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. ….. An additional message will be posted before 6:30am Wednesday morning, as to whether this delay needs to be upgraded to an asynchronous day if warranted by conditions.

Bristol Township School District already was closed for an in-service day.

Bucks County Technical High School:

Due to the weather forecast, Bucks County Technical High School will be on a 2-hour delay Schedule for tomorrow February 12th. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep everyone updated in case of any changes.

Pennsbury School District:

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area that is in effect from February 11, 04:00 PM EST until February 12, 07:00 AM EST As a result, there is a chance for hazardous road conditions during the morning commute.

Due to the incoming snowstorm, the Pennsbury School District will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow morning.

PLEASE NOTE: This decision will be reevaluated during the overnight hours to determine the impact of the storm. If needed, any further changes, including the possible transition to a Remote Learning Day will be communicated around 7:00 a.m. Information is usually posted online before the phone call and email

Two-hour delay start times are as follows:
- Pennsbury High School: 9:20 am
- Middle Schools: 10:10 am
- Elementary schools: 11:00 am
- KidsCare will open at 9:00 am
Buses will arrive at stops two hours later than usual and school will begin two hours later than usual.
Note to walking students: Some sidewalks and intersections may be difficult to cross. Please plan accordingly.
