The properties include homes on Parkside Circle, Orangewood Drive, Center Avenue, Airacobra Street, and Butler Avenue.

Beau Fleming, Bristol Township’s building and planning official, presented the blight recommendations to the council.

“We started this program in 2015. We had 204 properties on that list at that time. Today, we have 33 homes,” Fleming said.

The township official noted that 10 of those properties are actively being addressed, bringing the current list down to 23.

Fleming provided details on each of the five properties recommended for blight designation:

8 Parkside Circle: Stickered in December 2022, this bank-owned property has a preservation company that does “the extremely bare minimum,” according to Fleming. The township has had to contract maintenance multiple times.

56 Orangewood Drive: Stickered in May 2023, this property was reported vacant for 3-5 years. It has no active utilities and is uninhabitable.

925 Center Avenue: Stickered in June 2022, this property has required township-contracted maintenance. The porch is falling down and the rear is overgrown.
