According to an Amazon Fresh spokesperson, the store will open on Thursday, September 26.
The store, which is located in the Lincoln Plaza shopping center off East Lincoln Highway near Oxford Valley Mall, marks the fourth Amazon Fresh location in Pennsylvania and third in Bucks County.
According to Griffin Buch, an Amazon Fresh spokesperson, the Oxford Valley location will offer “a wide selection of quality groceries and a convenient shopping experience.”

The 44,500-square-foot store follows the brand’s expansion in the region, with a recent opening in Bensalem Township earlier this summer and a 2021 debut in Warrington Township.

The new store has been hiring in recent weeks for both part-time and full-time positions, according to recent job postings.

Jim Ennis, Middletown Township’s director of building and zoning, noted that the project received its initial permits back in 2021 and has undergone several revisions.
Although the exterior was completed in 2022, interior work was delayed as Amazon Fresh took a new look at its grocery rollout strategy.
Enhancements to the store design reflect positive customer feedback received at other locations in Chicago and Southern California.

Amazon resumed its expansion earlier this year and added new features, including enhanced department layouts, an expanded selection of grab-and-go foods, and lower prices. Some locations even include a Krispy Kreme outlet, according to the company.
At the Middletown Township store, shoppers can look forward to a variety of products including national brands, high-quality produce and protein, Amazon’s own private-label brands such as Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Saver, and 365 by Whole Foods Market. The store will also feature an array of fresh foods, international flavors, ready-made meals, and products from more than 75 regional brands, all aimed at providing customers with great value, the company said.

Amazon Fresh has committed to supporting the community by donating surplus food to the Philabundance Food Bank once the store is operational, the spokesperson said.
