
The Bristol Township School Board is seeking a new member after a recent resignation.

The Bristol Township School Board on Monday evening accepted the resignation of board member Mary Sharble, who has served on the body since December 2021.
School Board President Jim Morgan said Sharble resigned due to a move out of the district.
The school board member was acknowledged and thanked for her contributions to curriculum.

Morgan said that Sharble, a scientist, worked to improve science education in the district.
The school board will pick a replacement for Sharble at its September action meeting.

Letters of interest must be submitted to the district office at 5 Blue Lake Road in Levittown by the close of business on Friday.
