The death of a man in Middletown Township is not believed to be connected to foul play, according to police.

The man was located deceased in the area of a stream off Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road late Sunday afternoon.
Police said the man’s death is suspected of being drug related and there is no threat to the community.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers blocked off Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road and kept it closed for several hours.

The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad was called to the scene and the coroner’s office later responded, sources said.
