Authorities Investigate After Body Found

Middletown Township police and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office were investigating a death in Middletown Township’s Parkland section.

Police blocked off Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road Sunday just past 4:30 p.m. It remained closed into the evening.

Sources said a man was located in the waterway off Highland Avenue and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad responded and the coroner’s office was requested, sources said.

Police didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
