

A piece of debris on the I-95/Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge over the Delaware River led to a crash with minor injuries recently.

State police were called to the bridge heading toward New Jersey at noon on June 24 for a report of a crash.
Troopers arrived to the scene in Bristol Township to find a two-vehicle crash between a 2024 Volvo truck and a 2023 Nissan Rogue on the bridge.
According to state police, the crash was caused when the truck quickly moved to avoid a damaged drive shaft that was sitting in the right lane of travel.

The truck swiped the Nissan, and both vehicles pulled over and waited for state police to arrive.
There were minor injuries reported, and the Bucks County Rescue Squad responded. However, no one needed to be taken to the hospital.
