Wael Hagag, 40, was charged Wednesday with indecent assault without consent and harassment for the incident that allegedly happened earlier this year.
A Bristol Borough officer patrolling near Wood and Mill streets was flagged down by a man and woman at approximately 7:15 p.m. on April 27, police said.
The couple reported that an indecent assault had happened during the early morning hours of April 26, according to court papers.

The woman told investigators that she and her fiancé ordered an Uber from a Northeast Philadelphia bar in the early hours of April 26 because they had both been drinking. She identified the driver because she recognized him as an employee at a pizza shop in Bristol Borough, police said.
During the trip home, the couple requested that Hagag pull over so the woman’s fiancé could urinate in an alley, according to police.

The woman also exited the vehicle. While her back was turned, Hagag approached her from behind, placed his hands under her shirt, and groped her, police said.
An investigator wrote that the woman stated the contact was unwanted and made her feel uncomfortable.
Police said the fiancé returned while the assault was happening.
Hagag got back into his car and sped away, police said.

Investigators identified Hagag using information obtained from the woman’s Uber account and a PennDOT database, police said.
Hagag was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge David Chichilitti and was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
