A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on Woodbourne Road Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 1500 block of Woodbourne Road in Middletown Township’s Levittown section.
The motorcyclist was avoiding a serious collision and laid their motorcycle down on the roadway, sliding into a car, police Sgt. Brian Hyams said.
The motorcyclist suffered leg pain and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, according to Hyams.

The motorcycle suffered serious damage and was disabled by the crash, Hyams said.
Firefighters assisted police and ambulance crews at the scene.

Woodbourne Road was blocked for a short time between Chickenfoot Road and Cobalt Ridge Drive North.
