

A traffic stop on I-95 southbound near the Bristol Exit led to a drug bust last Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

At approximately 10:34 a.m., a Pennsylvania State Police trooper pulled over a silver 2022 Chrysler Pacifica minivan bearing Florida registration for traffic violations on the highway in Bristol Township.
Upon approaching the vehicle, troopers made contact with the driver, a 38-year-old man from Uniondale, New York; the front seat passenger, a 35-year-old man from Hempstead, New York; and an unidentified rear seat passenger.
“Numerous signs of criminal activity were present which led to a consent search of the vehicle,” troopers said.

The search yielded the seizure of approximately 100 pounds of leaf marijuana, which was contained in various forms, including vacuum-sealed bags, large plastic bags, small plastic bags, jars, and large plastic containers, state police said.
Further searching led to troopers confiscated 1,045 plastic bags containing THC-infused edibles, 50 THC vape cartridges, a large digital scale, a small digital scale, green THC oil, and approximately 34 small glass containers containing marijuana wax, state police said.

Troopers said hundreds of items related to cannabis paraphernalia and other bulk packaging materials were also discovered.
During the arrest, the front seat passenger attempted to conceal pills on his person, state police said.
Following further investigation, the front seat passenger will be charged with drug possession for the unlawful possession of the pills.

The driver will face charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, drug possession, and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.
