The incident began just after 1 a.m. when a Pennsylvania State Police trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on the highway.
Despite the officerโs efforts to stop the vehicle, the driver dimmed the vehicle’s lights and continued to travel at an extremely high rate of speed, state police said.
The trooper lost sight of the vehicle, prompting the termination of the pursuit, state police said.
