
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has issued a warning to motorists traveling eastbound and westbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and those approaching I-95 northbound and southbound in Bristol Township.

For those traveling in the area of the Delaware Valley Interchange (Exit 42), Turnpike officials advised drivers to prepare for slow-moving and stopped traffic on Tuesday, May 14, from 12:05 a.m. until 5 a.m.
Intermittent, 15-minute traffic stoppages will occur in this area to ensure the safety of motorists and workers as crews carry out bridge repairs, officials said.
The bridge being worked on carries I-95 traffic over Green Lane.

During the stoppages, Turnpike maintenance and Pennsylvania State Police will limit Turnpike traffic to speeds of 20 mph to 25 mph.
Drivers traveling on I-276 and I-95 in Bucks County are advised to plan their travel accordingly.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be stationed at the impacted areas to assist drivers.
Message signs will also provide information on closures and detours.
Officials noted that work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
