On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed the win, which stemmed from the drawing on Friday, April 5.

The winning ticket was sold at the Wawa located at 639 East Lincoln Highway.

It matched all five white balls โ€” 20, 30, 54, 63, 65 โ€” from the Friday drawing. However, it missed the yellow Mega Ball, which was 14, landing the ticket holder the $1 million prize before withholdings.

As the retailer responsible for selling the winning ticket, Wawa will receive a $5,000 bonus, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The identity of the winner remains a mystery, as Pennsylvania Lottery officials noted that winners are not known until prizes are claimed and the tickets are validated.
