Police Affidavit Reveals New Details Of Andre Gordon Jr.’s Killing Spree

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office has released the affidavit of probable cause for the man accused of killing three people in Falls Township’s Levittown section.

The affidavit, which was made public on Monday afternoon, was filed by Falls Township police and the Bucks County Detectives to justify the 32 charges against 26-year-old Andre Gordon, who was homeless but had previously lived in Falls Township and Trenton.

Among the charges filed in Bucks County against Gordon were varying counts of murder of the first degree, murder of the second degree, burglary, aggravated assault, robbery of a vehicle, unlawful restraint, and reckless endangerment, according to a court docket.

Gordon is already facing carjacking and weapons-related charges in New Jersey related to the Saturday crime spree. He remained jailed in Mercer County as of Monday.

Once extradited to Pennsylvania, Gordon will face the 32 counts against him and be preliminarily arraigned.

The Saturday shooting victims were identified as Gordon’s stepmother, 52-year-old Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon. They were killed in their home on Viewpoint Lane. At a home on Edgewood Lane, 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two children, was shot dead and her mother was beaten with the butt of Gordon’s AR-15-style gun.

Below is the full affidavit of probable cause filed by township and county law enforcement:

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 8:52 a.m., police officers from the Falls Township Police Department were dispatched to 45 Viewpoint Lane for the report of an armed subject. Upon arrival, Falls Township Police Officer Michael Mraw located Karen Gordon and KG (Kera Gordon) in the rear room of the first floor. Both subjects had suffered gunshot wounds and were deceased upon police arrival. While inside the residence at 45 Viewpoint Lane, Ofc. Mraw observed numerous shell casings on the first floor, bullet holes in both an interior wall and an interior door, and blood on the front door of the residence, Ofc. Mraw also observed a puddle of blood accumulating under the door of the room where Karen and KG were located. Ring doorbell footage from 45 Viewpoint Lane shows Andre Gordon Jr. appear to use a rifle to break the glass on the front door. Andre Gordon Jr. then appears to point the rifle into the residence. Evidence obtained on scene indicates that the Andre Gordon Jr. fired shots into the residence through the broken window.

While on scene, Ofc. Mraw discovered that there were three other family members present at the time of the shooting. Andre Gordon Sr., Jermain Allen, and juvenile AG. Andre Gordon Sr. is the husband of Karen, and the father of KG. Andre Sr. stated the following: he was awoken today by Karen, who advised him that his son, Andre Gordon Jr., was at the front door of their residence. Andre Sr. opened the front door of the residence and confronted Andre Jr. After a verbal exchange, Andre Sr. closed the door and went to his room to get dressed. At that point, while displaying a rifle, Andre Jr. began to hit the front door of the residence, causing the glass to break on the door. Andre Sr. then heard what he believed to be gunshots in the residence. Andre Sr. remained in his room until the arrival of officers from the Falls Township Police Department. Ring doorbell footage from 45 Viewpoint Lane shows Andre Gordon Jr. appear to use a rifle to break the glass on the front door. Andre Gordon Jr. then appears to point the rifle into the residence. Evidence obtained on scene indicates that the Andre Gordon Jr. discharged the rifle into the occupied residence through the broken window.

On March 16, 2024, at 9:01 a.m., Falls Township Police Sgt. Stephen Reeves was advised that there was a report of an armed subject at 5 Edgewood Lane. The 911 caller stated that there was a male at the door with a gun. The caller was identified as Taylor, and the caller identified the male subject as “Andre Gordon”, who she stated was the father of her child. As all patrol resources from the Falls Township Police Department were being utilized at 45 Viewpoint Lane, Sgt. Reeves requested that Bucks County Radio dispatch patrol officers from the Bristol Township Police Department to 5 Edgewood Lane. Bristol Township Police Department Officer Erik Barros arrived on scene at 9:05 a.m., at which point he was met by … a resident at 5 Edgewood Lane. [The man] directed Ofc. Barros to the rear bedroom of the residence, where Ofc. Barros observed a female subject, who was later identified as Taylor Daniel laying on the ground. Taylor Daniel had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

[The man] reported the following in summary: he was sleeping in his bedroom when he heard his sister, Taylor Daniel, yelling that Andre Gordon Jr. was at the door with a gun. John then heard Taylor tell their mother, Nancy Daniel, to get into her bedroom. After hearing what [the man] believed to be an altercation between Taylor and Andre Gordon Jr., he heard what he believed to be gunshots. When [the man] exited bedroom, he found that his sister was unresponsive and that his mother had sustained a head injury. [The man] took his two nieces, AD and AGD, out of the room where Taylor was laying.

Nancy stated that she heard gunshots. After which, she exited her bedroom and began to hit Andre Gordon Jr. with a wooden axe handle. At that point Andre Gordon Jr. struck Nancy in the head with a rifle, causing a laceration on her head. 

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 9:13 a.m., [a man] reported that his vehicle, a 2016 Honda CR-V, gray in color, had been stolen from the parking lot of [Dollar General[, located at 1279 Bristol Pike. [The man] stated that a black male subject had showed him a long gun in a bag while [the man] was using an air compressor to fill his tire. The actor ripped the compressor away from the tire, got into the vehicle and left the area. It was also reported that the subject had abandoned a vehicle near Windsor Drive, which is located in the immediate area of the [Dollar General.] The abandoned vehicle was a 2013 Nissan Altima, silver in color. The 2013 Nissan Altima was stolen earlier on March 16, 2024 by Andre Gordon Jr. during a robbery in Trenton, New Jersey. Matthew’s vehicle was later located on the street in front of 141 Miller Street in Trenton, New Jersey.

It was reported that the defendant, Andre D. Gordon Jr., was barricaded in the residence located at 153 Phillips Avenue in Trenton, NJ, which is one block away from where the stolen Honda CRV was located. However, the defendant was able to escape prior to police arrival. 

The defendant was apprehended on New York Avenue in Trenton, NJ, approximately five blocks from both Miller Street and Phillips Avenue while on foot. The apprehension occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on March 16, 2024. Andre Gordon Jr. had altered his appearance, in an attempt to conceal his identity, by cutting his hair prior to his apprehension.
