A man is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the leg, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at a hotel along Street Road in Bensalem Township, but the man was later found on Sunday morning along Beaver Dam Road in Bristol Township, police said.
Bristol Township police and medics were called to the Bristol Township scene.
Police Lt. C.J. Winik stated: “It doesn’t appear there was any criminal element to the incident.”

The man is expected to survive his injury, police said. Further details about his condition were not immediately available.
