Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Returns To Levittown

Hues of green will once again adorn Levittown as the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade makes its return this Saturday.

The parade is set to commence at 10:30 a.m. It will kick off at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Bristol Township.

Participants will follow the procession along New Falls Road, concluding at the Levittown American Baseball Fields, located just opposite the Thornridge Shopping Center in Falls Township.

This year’s parade promises an engaging lineup of attractions, including traditional music, the sounds of bagpipes, Irish dancers in colorful costumes, local businesses showcasing their services, emergency responders in their parade best, and an good cheer.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Steve Aldrich, the business manager for I.B.E.W. Local 269. Aldrich’s leadership and the union’s contributions to the parade are being celebrated.

Continuing the festivities, a post-parade celebration, known as a Hoolie, will begin at 1 p.m. The event will be hosted at the Ancient Order of Hibernians, located at 614 Corson Street in Bristol Borough. The Hoolie is expected to draw a large crowd, with attendees looking forward to enjoying additional music, food, and entertainment.

Originating in 1989, the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade has grown into a popular local tradition that draws people from around the county.
