After posting a disturbing 14-minute video to YouTube and displaying his dad’s head, he fled Bucks County in his dad’s car. Mohn was captured several hours later inside the secured portion of the Fort Indiantown Gap Pennsylvania National Guard training complex in Lebanon County by the base’s police department and Pennsylvania State Police.

Mohn, purporting to lead a militia, aimed to recruit state-level officials to help overthrow the federal government, targeting specific federal officials, including President Joe Biden, according to police accounts and his video posted to social media.

In the video, Mohn ordered people across the country to kill and torture federal employees.

While serving a search warrant at the family home where the killing happened early the next morning, investigators uncovered a single 9mm shell casing, a large kitchen knife, and a machete at the crime scene. A search of Mohn’s bedroom revealed the computer used to upload the video and blood-stained furniture. There was also evidence of plans to distribute the message across multiple platforms, including YouTube.
