The fire marshal said the residence “suffered significant fire damage.”
When the fire broke out, there were two adults and two young grandchildren inside, Dippolito said.
The resident reported hearing two loud popping noses and spotted flames and smoke coming from the bedroom a short time later, Dippolito told LevittownNow.com.
