The area could see some light snow showers on Thursday, and a bit of that snow may stick.

The National Weather Service’s regional office reported that Lower Bucks County may experience a “bit of snow through midday.”
Trenton was predicted to have a 53 percent chance of seeing some snow, which would be out of the area by early afternoon as temperatures rise above freezing.
Forecasters said the showers could bring minor accumulation.

“Accumulations likely stay less than an inch where they do occur,” forecasters said.
The cold morning temperatures could make the roadways cold and more favorable for any snow sticking on it, increasing the chances for slippery roads

Philadelphia and much of the region has gone more than 700 days without a measurable snowfall.
Temperatures are expected to warm up on Friday and Saturday with a high near 50 degrees and a high of 62 on Sunday.
The extended forecast through next Wednesday shows no further chances of snow.
