This year’s event, hosted by the Langhorne Borough Business Association, is set to take place on Friday.

Scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the highlight of the evening will be Santa Claus lighting the Christmas tree. The highly anticipated moment is set to occur at 7:30 p.m. behind The Richardson House near the intersection of Bellevue and Maple avenues.

Dickens Night is a free event that will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Each year, the event successfully draws several hundred people to the borough.

In addition to the festive activities, the event serves a charitable purpose. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations, which will be collected for a local food pantry.

To accommodate the event, there will be a temporary closure by police of Bellevue Avenue between Maple and Richardson avenues.
