
A 28-year-old man was killed in Friday night’s hit-and-run crash that occurred in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

On Friday around 10 p.m., Bristol Township police, the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, and fire crews were dispatched to Haines Road between Route 13 and Kenwood Drive for a report of a struck pedestrian. The striking vehicle did not stick around, authorities said.
Joel Steven Moreau, whose hometown was still being determined, was identified Monday as the skateboarder who was struck in the hit-and-run, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.
Moreau died of multiple injuries, Buck said.

Patch.com reported, citing a police spokesperson, that a passing vehicle watched a red Kia sedan in the area and spotted it make a U-turn near the crash site. The Kia then traveled past the victim without stopping, heading northbound on Haines Road.
At 7 a.m. on Saturday, police were alerted to a red Kia abandoned in the woods off Scholar Lane. The vehicle was taken into evidence by investigators, according to the report.

No charges related to the crash were filed as of Monday afternoon, according to a review of court records by LevittownNow.com.
The coroner extended her condolences to Moreau’s family.
