The popular bagel chain Manhattan Bagel is gearing up to open a new location in Penndel Borough.

The new location is slated to open in the building at the intersection of Durham Road, West Lincoln Highway, and Eastbrook Avenue.
Signs of the upcoming change were visible, as construction crews were seen working inside the building on Wednesday evening.
This building, once a bank and then a restaurant named Tummy Yummies, had most recently housed Evo’s Pizza.

In addition to this location, Manhattan Bagel has plans to set up another outlet with a drive-thru at the former Einstein Bros. Bagels site in the Summit Square Shopping Center situated along the Newtown Bypass.
Manhattan Bagel is not new to the area. The chain already operates locations at the Shoppes at Flowers Mill in Middletown Township and along Street Road in Lower Southampton Township.
