The Falls Township Police Department will be hosting a shredding event on Saturday, aimed at ensuring sensitive papers don’t fall into the wrong hands.
The event will take place at Pennsbury High School East, located on Hood Boulevard, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Officials warn, however, that if the shredding truck becomes full, the event might wrap up earlier than scheduled.
Participants are encouraged to bring items such as financial statements, transaction records, insurance policies, ledgers, files, and magazines.

To ensure smooth operation of the industrial-sized shredder, residents are requested to bring their documents without any metals, binders, or clips. While plastic bags will not be accepted for disposal, paper bags are permissible.
The event is designed exclusively for Falls Township residents. Local businesses are advised not to bring their documents, as they will not be accepted.
