There will be FOUR one-hour HBD Delaware River cruises.
This classically rigged schooner will sail from the Bristol wharf on Historic Bristol Day, Saturday, October 21st 2023 @ 10:30am, Noon, 2:00pm [HURRY! this one almost full!] & 3:30pm for a scenic 1hour sail.
[Direction is dependent on the winds.]
Adults $25.00 and children 12 & under $10.00. [*Not ADA accessible].

The 47th Annual Historic Bristol Day on Saturday, October 21, 2023, sponsored by the Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation will be held from 10:00 to 4:00 PM.

BCHF is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving over 3 centuries of Bristol’s history and increasing cultural opportunities for all residents of the community, promoting pride which translates into helping and enhancing the treasure that has been inherited.
Historic Bristol on the Delaware has been an awesome site of recreation venues for the people of the area for centuries, and this one event in particular is reminiscent of the great fairs held in town during the colonial period.
“There are a plethora of LAND & WATER plusses in attending an annual event in this beautiful riverside town,” confirmed chairpersons, Mary Gesualdi and Nicholas A. Rizzo.
The all volunteer crew of the Schooner North Wind , a 75-foot premiere sailing tall ship charter vessel, takes youth [primarily 4th -12th graders] out on the Delaware River implementing educational stations during the sail to teach them about science, environmental chemistry, weather, and history, while making them aware of what their home looks like from the river.
These programs are funded by public sails such as this Bristol Borough event, as well as private charter events, including firework and sunset cruises.
The vessel is U.S. Coast Guard registered and inspected, the Captains are U.S. Coast Guard licensed, and the crew is highly trained and tested.

Capt. Scott Hughes, President of the Board of Gloucester City Sail, a NJ nonprofit organization, has been providing these inspiring jaunts for almost 7 years.

All are cordially invited to help raise the sails and perhaps even sing a traditional folk sea shanty/chanty [derived from the French verb ‘chanter’, meaning ‘to sing’], OR just sit back and enjoy sailing and seeing the historic town from a different perspective.

The craft area will again be located in the 200 and 300 blocks of Radcliffe Street [closed to car traffic leaving the area open for pedestrians].
Business or crafter participation fee for a 10 x 10 space is $70.00. Fee is $30.00 for non-profit tables.
