A group of boaters were pulled from the Delaware River after their vessel began to sink.

A boat was reported to have hit a channel marker in the water between Tullytown Borough and Bristol Township. It began to take on water just after 8:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Edgely Fire Company Chief Brian Cirard said Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission officers were already on the river and quickly responded.
Working with New Jersey State Police, the Pennsylvania and New Jersey law enforcement officials were able to take the boaters to D&S Marina along Main Street in Tullytown Borough.

Four people were taken by ambulance for injuries. The extent of the injuries were not known, Cirard said.
The location and nature of the crash drew a large response from both sides of the Delaware River.

In addition to the Edgely Fire Company, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and New Jersey State Police, American Hose, Hook and Ladder Fire Company; Florence Township (New Jersey) Fire Department; and the Tullytown Fire Company staged along the river to assist.
