Miller Environmental, of Paulsboro, New Jersey, came out to the scene at the Gulf Gas Station at the Five Points intersection in Bristol Township’s Levittown section. They worked at the gas station and the surrounding area, including along Bristol-Emilie Road and in the Acme parking lot.
“You will see a white substance remaining on the road from the product used to absorb the fuel on roadway. However will wash away after next rain,” Flanagan said.
Miller Environmental was able to recover spilled gas from the storm drain where it flowed into, the deputy chief said.
