Philly Teens Adjudicated Delinquent For Involvement In Middletown Gun Store Burglary

Three Philadelphia teenagers are facing the consequences of their actions as they are adjudicated delinquent for a daring gun store burglary that happened in May, according to authorities.

Elante Outterbridge, Cavier Richardson, and Quadir Spady, all 16 years old, have been placed in a secure facility in Bucks County after being adjudicated delinquent various offenses, including burglary, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a firearm without a license, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

In the juvenile justice system, those being charged as minors are not found guilty, but they can be found adjudicated delinquent, which means the court has found they committed the crime they are accused.

The burglary took place in the early hours of May 30 at the LugerMan gun store located at 1872 East Old Lincoln Highway. Middletown Township officers responded to a burglary report at the establishment around 3 a.m.

As officers arrived at the scene, they spotted a Kia Sportage leaving the gun store parking lot and attempted to initiate a stop. A brief pursuit ensued through Falls Township, where that townshipโ€™s officers laid down stop sticks, which did damage to the tires. The chase continued through Morrisville Borough and across the Calhoun Street Bridge onto Route 29 in Trenton, police said.

The chase ended when the vehicle crashed in Trenton, and the occupants attempted to flee on foot.

Law enforcement officials were able to apprehend the three juveniles in Trenton shortly thereafter and two adults made off. They two adults have not been located, according to authorities.

The Kia involved in the incident was found to be stolen, and a search of it led to the recovery of more than 20 stolen handguns and rifles.

The Middletown Township Police Department, Falls Township Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and the Trenton Police Department handled the investigation.
